artist statement

with viewers encouraged to add or remove cobble stones, as a suggestion the work sits somewhere between hinting at the potential of further growth (where the means and process are clear to see and actually follow), or at being a ruin.

this, while echoing the dome peppered vistas of Rome, as well as the city's structural relics, ever present and in states of stable decay.
