artist statement

a site specific intervention of high kinetic and light sensitivity, affixed to the façade of P1 Car Park, directly above its pedestrian ENTRY/EXIT.

on approach from any given direction, silver cascade presents a multilevel outpouring of shimmering silvery runoff that is activated by breeze and light, cascading unevenly and in great volume down the Car Park’s façade.

think of a large wall conquered by ivy, animated by bursts of breeze, but with greater sensitivity, tail length, volume and reflectivity.
